MEDALE I STATUETKI
So, yesterday I managed to win my third Bayonne Championship. The attendance and the strength level was down from earlier years, but we had a good evening nonetheless and I even got a trophy to carry home (that hasn’t happened since I won a couple of Weekend congresses when I lived in England). The surprise of the evening was a young girl who only went wrong against me in a somewhat worse (for her) endgame. The rest of the evening, she beat everybody... convincingly!
